ABOUT DH LAB

WHAT DO WE WANT

The Digital Humanities Lab seekS to create an interdisciplinary space  for investigating the emerging role of digital technologies and knowledge in the humanities studies. The DH Lab wishes to cultivate an online and ongoing conversation that helps enrolled members explore how to bring the digital into their own research, teaching, and professional plans and curricula.

OUR AIMS

The aim of the DH Laboratory is to combine methodologies and good practices from different scientific fields within joint projects that will support data management and the production, study, preservation and distribution of all kinds of evidence, supporting and promoting research in all disciplines.
In order to fulfill this aim, the DHLab aims to develop and distribute technical skills and to integrate them in individual projects, access to special software tools, diffusion of know-how and experience through workshops, lectures, workshops and conferences and joint projects. Emphasis is placed on the participation of students in order to create a core of young scientists who will support this emerging field in terms of excellence and efficiency, while at the center is the methodological reflection, the evaluation of materials and products, as well as the creation of curricula.
